Data controller

The controller of the personal data collected through this website is Atea Group S.r.l. Società Benefit, lead partner of the PrecisionFert Operational Group, Montebelluna (TV), Italy — email: luciano.fantinato@ateagroup.it. No Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been appointed; for any request concerning your personal data you may write to the address above.

What data we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

  • Browsing data: technical information collected automatically during normal browsing (e.g. IP address, browser type), needed for the site to work and processed only for as long as is technically necessary.
  • Data provided through the contact form: name, email address, message and, where ticked, the areas of interest you choose to indicate. This data is sent directly from your device, through your own email program, to the project contact’s email address — it does not pass through or get stored on any server or external service run by us or by third parties.
  • Data provided for the newsletter: email address and explicit consent to receive communications, collected at the time of subscription through the Mailchimp service.

The site does not use analytics or profiling tools (such as Google Analytics): we do not collect aggregate data on visitor behaviour.

Purposes and legal basis of processing

  • Replying to enquiries sent through the contact form: legal basis — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in assisting those who write to us.
  • Sending the newsletter: legal basis — your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every message.
  • Technical operation of the site: legal basis — our legitimate interest in ensuring the security and proper functioning of the service.

How we store and process the data

Data collected through the contact form is not kept by us in any structured form: it stays in the mailbox of the person who receives it, under the normal arrangements for retaining business correspondence. Data collected through the newsletter is retained by Mailchimp until you unsubscribe.

Third parties processing data on our behalf

To deliver some of the site’s services we rely on external providers, who process data under their own privacy notices:

  • Netsons — website hosting provider
  • Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.) — management of the newsletter list and sending of communications
  • Google (Google Ireland Limited) — supply of the typefaces (Google Fonts) used on the site
  • Open-Meteo — supply of the weather and climate data used by the GDD Calendar in the Tools section

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, they apply the safeguards required by Regulation (EU) 2016/679, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Your rights

As a data subject you have the right, at any time, to request access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing. You may exercise these rights by writing to luciano.fantinato@ateagroup.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali) if you believe the processing infringes applicable law.

Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated over time, for example when new features are added to the site. We encourage you to check it periodically. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.

Language of this notice

This is a courtesy translation of the Italian privacy notice, provided for information only. In the event of any discrepancy between the two versions, the Italian text prevails.
